Truck Unloading Procedures:
Please follow the procedures listed below to minimize your unload time.
1) Please enter and exit the site with caution. A higher volume of rail traffic is experienced with the increase in crush capacity.
2) Please proceed under the probe. The probe is located on the North side of the Elevator office. Bring all paperwork, Trucker or Vendor Instructions into the office prior to probing. If there is truck ahead of you going to the probe, please bring in your paperwork early.
3) Do not have your trailers parked over the rail crossing.
4) Roll up tarps and be ready for your load to be probed.
5) Unlatch all hopper latches etc. prior to entering the probe area.
6) Watch the traffic lights at the probe. The buyers will change them from Red to Green. Red is for Stop. Green is to pull forward.
7) Once your load is probed, please proceed around the large bin traveling through the Crush and Cleaning building. Signs will be posted.
8) For safety reasons, when your are in the line between the probe and the unload bay, Remain in your Truck at all times.
9) Proceed with extreme caution when going through the Crush and Cleaning Plant. Bunge employees enter and exit these buildings. Signs will be posted.
10) Do not park between the marked signs.
11) Smoking is not permitted south of the rail crossing.
12) If the In drive ramp is slippery, park on the bottom of the in drive and enter the unload bay once the truck unloading exits.
13) If the In drive ramp is clear, please park on the ramp.
14) Enter the Unload bay with caution.
15) Avoid harsh stops on the scale.
16) Use the intercom to advise the buyers who you are and the owner of the load. The buyers will capture your weight and give you instructions to begin unloading.
17) Keep the Augers running at maximum speed? The amperage requested will be posted on the window.
18) Once unloaded, use the intercom to advise the buyers that you are empty and need to have you empty truck weighed.
19) Exit the scale and go into the elevator office. The buyers will give you a completed grain receipt.
20) Trucks arriving after 5:30 PM may not be probed and unloaded.
