In 2007, the Royal Canadian Legion needed to make some repairs on their building in downtown Nipawin. The dilapidated, old roof was one part of the building which was in need of serious repair. The cost of the entire project was stated as $20,000. Bunge Canada in Nipawin donated money to the Legion to help complete this project. Legion members are grateful to Bunge, as this donation covered a large amount of the final cost. The project was finished in March 2008.
