Nipawin Forestry Museum 06/16/08 5:12:12 PM
Three years ago the Nipawin Forestry Museum needed to rebuild the boiler of our 100 year old Case Steamer. Our fundraising for this was done almost entirely in the Nipawin District. Bunge was one of our first and larger contributors. We raised the needed $50,000 in six months and the steamer is now fully restored. We use it to run a sawmill on the first of July. It is a major attraction at our Canada Day Celebration. Bunge donates cooking oil for cooking fries on that day as well. The first of July is an important day when we raise most of the funds needed to keep our museum in operation.
